Dear love of my life,

Where exactly have you been? Why has it taken you so long to find me and for you to check in?

I’ve been doing ok, up until yesterday you see…. There’s been a lot of pressure without you here next to me,

It has never been easy not knowing if you are ok and having that constant confirmation,

Equal to that, it is not easy knowing if you still love me the way I love you if not more or less with the same affection, addiction, and sexual celebration,

I miss you, to kiss you, to touch you, dear love of my life,

I guess you could say there were many opportunities that were missed to have officially put an end to this pain and strife,

Some decisions take two, time waited for neither of us,

I know that love cannot be a lie because in you I completely trust,

Dear love of my life I am speaking to you openly, nakedly, I am baring my soul,

If ever there was a definitive moment in our lives let it be now and lets both seize that control,

Lets not shy away from what may be the last opportunity,

I am speaking directly to you my love please don’t just hear me, but listen to me,

We are supposed to be slow to anger and quick to love,

We are supposed to be fast to forgive and care for one another with delicate gloves,

Whenever I see you again I know I will be nervous and frozen like an ice cube in a mid winter cold,
