“Blur”

On my mind heavy so I dreamt of her,
She cut ties off and with her end she walked away for what she feels was better,
I wrote her a letter,
It came back return to sender,
In my dream she told me she never left me she just saw me and someone else together,
She said “I put two and two together,”
She began to cry as she sat close to me – chest to chest so I could feel her heart beat and at the same time feel it sever, 
I told her NO WAY NEVER!
All this over what you assumed?! She cut me off and said I also needed to get my life together,
Good things don’t always last forever,
The love I have for you will never die, it gets stronger each moment, each day, each whatever, whichever, wherever, no matter who I am with – whomever,
You are the air pressure,
For me you control my mood, my days, my weather,
My love for you there aren’t enough things in this world to measure,
A rose born in the winter months of December,
It all came crashing down on me so I had to choose to either die or surrender,
I chose and waved my white feathers,
Spread my wings to rise and to no longer do lesser,
In my soul you still live and I visit on my own terms as an aggressor,
No one will ever take your place – there is no successor,
I put on a happy face though inside I’m devastated by the fact to you I give no more effort,
While I play chess they play checkers,
This choice and decision gives me no pleasure,
Any touch other than yours makes my mind, body, and soul ill  – for weeks I can feel it fester,
When you touch me it is treasure,
When you touched me my soul and spirit for months would feel the tremors,
My heart for your constant love and affection became a beggar,
The more I asked the more I felt like a jester,
With tears in her eyes she asked how much more of this can I endure with no love I’ve become the confessor,
Staring back with tears in my eyes, then looking at her lips – we kissed and there appeared the cure no more stressors, 
All those times we took for granted are now simply a blur….. But I will never forget you as NO ONE CAN DO IT BETTER.
