“BEEN SAD”

Get an attitude…..then get mad,
Further from anger when I remember what I had,
You say what I have,
I don’t see feel nor touch it and now I’m sad,
There are irregularities in actions that did occur, but now they’re gone and again I feel bad,
Touching your hips and kissing your lips sure made me glad,
If I could subtract the memories from my mind and visions of us together rather than add,
The multiples of 100 times a day I see it all before my eyes would be more manageable…OK just a tad,
Death of my love,  my heart, and dearest com-rad,
There is no cushion soft enough nor strong enough to pad,
What’s good never lasts,
I’m convinced of this the more time has passed,
I think of our present state, our supposed future, but I think most about out past,
All those things we did, shared, love simply amassed,
Only to see it hit by the Mack truck named time that is undefeated, slumped down on the dash,
My love for you……splattered and smashed,
All hopes dashed,
Keep running into walls causing confusion and concussions from lack of focus and impact crash,
Love I asked,
I prayed you’d always stay, but instead you left so fast,
In the end I know that I had a blast,
You took all I gave and threw it in the trash,
Of you my mind and thoughts are harassed,
So embarrassed to say that I miss that ass,
Knew it was too good to be true these things never last,
Love I was so blind I never headed the forecast,
I was warned the bridge was out, but I never followed the newscast,
I just kept going steadfast,
You stopped and laughed,
I always knew my love would outlast……..
Now I’m sinking…..
