“I AM”

I am someone desired, someone sometimes unseen,

Someone departed, and to some, I’m somewhat of a dream,

I am a person, an object, a presence missing in their lives,

Fortunate to be seen by some and hope to be given to by others- for they have not had an example of me prior to my site,

As seeing is believing, and so they now believe,

I chase, I run, I jump, I laugh, I enjoy it all with ease,

I am fun, stern, strict, loving, caring, happy, frustrated, disciplined, respected, a figure, a part of, and all about,

I am gentle protecting, respecting, reassuring, guiding, wisdom, I’ll do all I can to leave you with no doubts,

I am cultured, seasoned, but I can hurt too,

I am imperfect, unconditional, and rational when it comes to you and life in general,

I am the spark, spontaneous, picky, funny, and a Gemini, so I have a serious and happy side,

I am certain, sure, decisive, indecisive, ambitious, outgoing if you get me going, sometimes I smile to hide the pain inside,

I am human first, daddy second, son third, brother fourth, man fifth, and a friend sixth,

I aspire to be that loving man, husband to replace whats third on the aforementioned list,

I am not afraid to die, will do, and give all I can,

Whether you agree or disagree it doesn’t matter to me –

Cause I know who I AM.
