Stronger than life itself she stands,

High above the mountains, on any given land,

The cornerstone, highest peak she will always be,

A role model and hero to me,

Love isn’t enough to ever say,

She stands up for me no matter what people say,

To channel feelings, emotions for her and translate into words,

Almost impossible, but I try though it feels sort of absurd,

My guiding light,

My Angel,

My shining star,

So privileged to have you in my life as we have traveled so far,

You nurse my wounds, my heart, and soul,

You know just how to make my cold days warm, my life you hold,

You never stop talking to me -though sometimes it feels as it’s too much in my head,

I quickly realize and process

EVERY SINGLE WORD THAT IS SAID,

I keep it all in my heart, and always remember what is told,

Wisdom is so much purer than any rich man’s gold

-and always overshadows,

You’ve stood through my happy times and my bad,

Showed me how to persevere beyond all adversity and still smile and laugh,

Created in me something with the world to share,

Love unconditionally with every bone in your body and on your body with every hair,

You’re always here,

Meaning so much to me,

Born one day apart – you own my life and heart,

I Love You Mommy.
